Sprayroq Structural Coatings

Sprayroq Structural Coatings

Rehabilitate from the inside — no digging, no disruption.

Service Overview

Midwest Infra is an authorized, factory-trained Sprayroq™ applicator — one of a select few certified partners serving the Michigan market. We specialize in spray-applied structural lining using SprayWall® polyurethane, two-part epoxy, and cementitious systems to rehabilitate aging infrastructure from the inside out.

SprayWall® is a two-component, aromatic polyurethane structural coating purpose-engineered for the most demanding sewer and stormwater environments. Applied at 250+ mils in a single mobilization, it restores full structural integrity, eliminates active groundwater infiltration, and delivers a proven long-term solution — with zero excavation required.

We work on manholes, lift stations, wet wells, large-diameter CMP culverts, tunnels, tanks, clarifiers, digesters, and secondary containment structures. Our certified crews bring NASSCO-standard preparation protocols and direct access to the Sprayroq product system to every project.

Manhole Rehabilitation - SprayWall

Aging sanitary manholes were exhibiting significant inflow and infiltration (I&I) along with advanced concrete deterioration, and prior liner systems had failed — compromising structural stability. Rather than traditional dig-and-replace, a trenchless rehabilitation approach was selected. Failed liner materials were removed and active infiltration points were repaired, then SprayWall® polyurethane structural lining was spray-applied at 250 mils to form a monolithic, corrosion-resistant interior that bonds directly to the existing substrate.

  • ~40% cost savings compared to traditional dig-and-replace
  • Faster project completion and service restoration
  • Monolithic, corrosion-resistant lining — extended asset life
  • Minimal disruption to surrounding roadways and community
Our Process

How We Execute

01

Site Assessment & Scoping

Our team conducts a thorough CCTV inspection and structural evaluation of the asset. We document existing conditions, identify active infiltration points, measure geometric constraints, and develop a rehabilitation scope matched to the specific asset type and failure mode.

02

Surface Preparation

Proper surface preparation is critical to long-term bond performance. All assets are cleaned to NASSCO standards using high-pressure hydro jetting and surface profiling. Active infiltration is addressed before lining application begins.

03

SprayWall® Application

Factory-trained Sprayroq™ applicators spray polyurethane at the specified dry film thickness — typically 250+ mils — in a single pass. The material fully encapsulates cracks, joints, bench deterioration, and invert defects, creating a seamless, monolithic structural shell.

04

Inspection & Return to Service

Post-application inspection confirms thickness compliance, full surface coverage, and bond integrity. Structures return to service the same day following each application window. A complete project record including thickness logs and photographic documentation is provided.
